When you initially registered your domain(s), your registrar is likely your original host, or a representative of the registrar themselves. Transferring a registrar isn't necessary for hosting purposes. Only DNS settings are required, so it's really up to you if you wish to change registrar also. The only advantage of this is likely re-registration price. However, in changing your registrar information, there is a fee applicable, so make sure it is to your advantage to do this. To transfer an existing domain, you will need to contact your original registrar, likely through your original host. They will need to provide you with a key to enter when you complete the online transfer form. We are still working on this article, so associated URL's will be forthcoming soon.
